Snow Day

For this cute digital stamp from From The Heart Stamps I used colored pencils and a gel pen for stitching. Then I played with Distress Inks (Salty Ocean and Seedless Preserves) and embelished those two stripes with punched snowflakes. I "stitched" the stripes with white gel pen on my card base.

The sketch challenges at From The Heart Stamps are back!

I colored this cuddly Yeti digital stamp with watercolor pencils and a bit of gel pens. Then I drew the background with colored pencils and gel pen (metallic green on trees).

From Schorschi with Love

Schorschi is a gorgeous digital stamp from Birka and it´s a freebie! And perfect for sending lots of love. I colored him with colored pencils and gave him a frame full of hearts plus one big behind him. For the background I used watercolor, some splashes and glitter gel pen. Sentiment is from MFT Out of This World stamp set.

Hedgehog Smooches

The new Gerda Steiner Designs´s digistamp is perfect for a Valentine card or - in my case - perfect for Chilli, a real hedgehog lady, who found a new home at a friend of mine.

I used colored pencils for coloring, a metallic gel pen for hearts and stitches on the banner, which is foam taped on a deer brown cardstock and patterned paper (Folia).

Happy Birthday with Kurt

Meet Kurt, a darling freebie digistamp from Birka. I needed a birthday card for my sister and decided to make a wobble spring card (my first ever).

I colored the image with colored pencils and glitter gel pens and cut it out. For the card base I used brown fold card from Folia and drew the border with black marker and white paint, inspired by one of the art journal pages from Vicky Papaioannou. Inside the border I stamped some birthday images from various stamp sets.

The wobble part is home-made, I used a piece of string I found recently and it was perfect for this...and it´s working!:-)
