Mouse Balloon

Another mouse! This time with balloon:-) The last card sketches challenge at From the Heart Stamps was so much fun, so I decided to join #140:-)

First I colored the mouse and balloon with pencils, then I handstitched around with a floss from my stash (Balerina Nr. 402) and added some sequins from Rayher. For the background I used design paper from Folia (Motivpapier Potpourri), three little gifts (Motivkarton Basics, Folia) with white gel pen ribbons and the final big ribbon is made from the same floss as stitching.

Mouse with Cookie

I made this card for my better half. He likes dark chocolate. When I saw this cute mouse from Gerda Steiner Designs, I knew it would be perfect: the cookie is made of milk chocolate, so I could have a bite, but there are dark chocolate chips in there!:-)

For the background I picked a design paper from Folia (Motivpapier Potpourri), the sentiment is printed (Segoe Script). I colored the mouse with pencils, fussy cut it and used foam tape to place it on the card.

With this card I'd like to enter:

Inky Paws Challenge #29 - Color Challenge

Color Challenge this time!:-) Red, Light Blue, Lime Green and White. And this is the card I came up with...

First I created the background: I used the powdered pigment you get when sharpening your pencils. I smudged the pigment onto the paper with cotton swab. For the centerpiece I went for one of Newton's Nook freebies. I highlighted the letters and added some blue on the edges of the cloud, blending it with cotton swab again:-) I adhered the cloud with foam tape on the background for some dimension.

Here's one more picture with pencils.

Snowman and Cocoa

How about a card with digital stamp? I got Snowman and Cocoa from From the Heart Stamps, it was only $1 this month, because it's a part of the challenge in February. And I decided to try the sketch challenge, too!

The image is colored with pencils, background with a little help of powdered pigment, which I scraped off the pencils. Banners are made from winter themed deco tapes, design paper is from my stash (Motivpapier Potpourri, Folia). Stitched with white gel pen:-)

Shaker Card

I got my hands on some sequins lately, perfect opportunity to make a shaker card, my first ever:-)

I cut the rectangle window and glued the acetate sheet on it, then I decorated with washi tape from Pretty Pink Posh, dash lines and sticker letters and heart outline (My Mind's Eye "Fancy That" Series). The name you can see on the card is my mother's nickname, the card is for her name day, which is celebrated on 11th February in Czech Republic. I glued some design paper from my stash to the card base and trapped a few sequins (Rayher) there by adding the window part with foam tape.
Happy Name Day, mom:-)

Lasting Hearts Card Drive

I made this card for Lasting Hearts Card Drive.

First I cut some hearts as masks and used Simon Says Stamp's Pale Blush Ink for blending. To the middle of each heart I added a mini gold heart from My Mind's Eye "Fancy That" Stickers. Sequins are from Rayher, sentiment is my own handwriting with white gel pen.

Inky Paws Challenge #28 - Love Theme

This is my card for Inky Paws Challenge on Newton's Nook Blog.

I picked one of their freebie stamp and colored it with pencils. A larger version of the image was used as a mask for creating a little background with Simon Says Stamp's Pale Blush Ink, sentiment is my own handwriting:-) Design paper on the background is from my stash.
