Ocean of Flowers

Here is a card for Task for Two Tuesday with a theme "Blumenmeer" and a sketch.

For the background I used the cluster of flowers from MFT stamp set Polynesian Paradise...and lots of masking:-), for coloring Stabilo markers and waterbrush.
The butterfly is from Big Shot starter kit and the word "love" from Winnie&Walter's In a Word: Love (coordinating cutaways).

Umbrellas

The idea for this card was long in my head, I only needed to find time:-)
Task: Paper Piecing

I created a background with ink smooshing (Distress Ink Salty Ocean) and then I stamped an umbrella (stamp set Big Beary Heart from Heffy Doodle) on different scraps of design paper in my stash and on the card itself.

Panda

Panda alert, panda alert!:-) Birka made these cuties for Task for Two Tuesday challenge and I could not resist.

I used watercolor pencils for coloring and a stamp from Viva Decor (Grunge Backgrounds) to create the frame. And white gel pen.

Ombre Background

I have to admit, I'm watching a lot of art journaling videos lately, so this is where the inspiration for this card came from.

The background was set by Task for Two Tuesday: Ombre-Background, so I played with watercolors and added some white and black splashes. Then I cut some wonky circles out of design paper and did some doodling with black and white pen.

Speech Bubbles

Even this little chameleon needs a little break from the colorful world around us:-)

The theme and the sketch is from Task for Two Tuesday challenge.
I used a stencil for speech bubbles and played with watercolor pencils, some Distress Inks and Wink of Stella. I stamped the chameleon (MFT Polynesian Paradise) and doodled the branch, borders and other details with black glitter gel pen.

Easter Bunny

A new task from Task for Two Tuesday is here: *Rabbits*.

A perfect opportunity for this cute freebie digital stamp from From the Heart Stamps. I used colored pencils for this little guy and glitter deco tube for the heart. As for the background, I played with Distress Ink (Fired Brick) and washi tape and then I cut out the shape of an egg to create Easter tag:-)

Owl Card

For this card I was inspired by a project I made a while ago: a little owl from felt.

So I cut the card base and decided to use some design paper from my stash, for details I used white gel pen, white colored pencil and Glossy Accents on beak and eyes (a flower stamp was used for them:-)).

This card is for Task for Two Tuesday challenge "Cards in unusual shapes".

A Page from Pirate Diary

I have a few sheets of stickers in my stash which I usually use to close and embellish envelopes, but today I decided to use them to create a little scene for a slider card, a fun challenge at Task for Two Tuesday.

The background was made with Distress Inks (Brushed Corduroy and Salty Ocean) plus I drew the border (to look like an old page) and the path to the treasure with Stabilo marker. The slider element was easy to cut even with my poor craft knife skills:-)

From Schorschi with Love

Schorschi is a gorgeous digital stamp from Birka and it´s a freebie! And perfect for sending lots of love. I colored him with colored pencils and gave him a frame full of hearts plus one big behind him. For the background I used watercolor, some splashes and glitter gel pen. Sentiment is from MFT Out of This World stamp set.

I used the sketch and theme from Task for Two Tuesday Challenge.

Happy Birthday with Kurt

Meet Kurt, a darling freebie digistamp from Birka. I needed a birthday card for my sister and decided to make a wobble spring card (my first ever).

I colored the image with colored pencils and glitter gel pens and cut it out. For the card base I used brown fold card from Folia and drew the border with black marker and white paint, inspired by one of the art journal pages from Vicky Papaioannou. Inside the border I stamped some birthday images from various stamp sets.
The wobble part is home-made, I used a piece of string I found recently and it was perfect for this...and it´s working!:-)

Santa Rocks

Did you know Santa has a golden guitar? He's even turning snowflakes into notes!

Santa is a digital stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs. For coloring I used a Copic marker, colored pencils, glitter gel pens and Wink of Stella. Snowflakes are from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps's stamp set Snowy Sayings. I added some shiny stars and a red stripe (watercolor).

A Little Wreath

Today, no stamps. Just drawing. With a little help from compass (drawing tool).
I sketched the leaves and berries and colored them with Stabilo markers and Wink of Stella. For the berries I used Glitter Deco Pens (from TESA). I punched the corners and used dark red cardstock as a card base. My final embellishment is a red yarn bow.

Thanks for the cookies!

Backstory: the kids from volunteer fire department will come selling homemade cookies from house to house and I wanted to make a little Thank you card:-)

I was inspired by the sketch at Task for Two Tuesday´s Challenge. For the furry part I picked a cute monster from Gerda Steiner Designs, used colored pencils, glitter gel pens and added a firefighter helmet from Your Next Stamp´s Silly Monster stamp set.

Leaf Print

This card brought me back to my childhood: as kids we used to pick leaves in park and then we made prints with them.

So I went to our garden, picked a leaf, gave it a watercolor coat with autumn colors (red, orange and green) and transfered it on my card as a print. I masked a rectangle, loaded an old toothbrush with brown watercolor and gave it a brush.
With my brown Stabilo marker I added a stalk of the leaf and a sentiment.

Rendezvous

The theme of Task for Two Tuesday's Challenge #59 was: Invitation plus sketch. This is my invitation to a date:-)

I played with some design paper from my stash (Folia) and pink glitter gel pen. The invitation is brought to you by a cute little pig from My Favorite Things (Hog Heaven), colored a bit with pencil and white gel pen. Plus letter stickers.
So don't forget, rendezvous tonight!

On the stage

When I first saw this freebie digital stamp for Task for Two Tuesday Challenge, I pictured this band of cutties on stage...curtain call, standing ovation:-) So I created this scene:

I colored our Fantastic Four with Copics and drew the podium, curtain and the box where usually the prompter sits. I knew I didn't want to have a completly black background behind our performers and I remembered how Kathy Racoosin once made background with black fineliner by drawing the lines next to each other.
First I traced all the shapes in the background, so I would get a white border around and then I took black Stabilo fineliner (point 88) and loosely drew the lines with the intention to have some white space there.
I colored the podium lightly with colored pencil, I wanted to use the texture of watercolor paper. The curtains are made using Stabilo markers and water plus a little bit of yellow glitter gel pen. All is placed on a kraft base together with a stripe of black washi tape. Then I added the red oval on the prompter's box.

Monster banners

The next Task for Two Tuesday's challenge: use any kind of banner. Ok, what about monster banners?:-)

For the banners I used a stencil set from Tchibo and colored them with Stabilo pens + white gel pen. Then I added some googly eyes and a black stripe. For the sentiment I created a "travel tag", it's easy to switch it for another one if needed:-)

Hugs and kisses

This card is for Task for Two Tuesday's challenge. I picked this cute little bear from BBB (Birkas Bären-Bande), it's a free digital stamp.

I printed the bear on kraft paper, traced it with white gel pen and fussy cut it. Later I drew the heart on the same paper, colored it with red glitter gel pen, added a white gel pen border and fussy cut it, too. I splattered some white acrylic paint on a black paper - it was everywhere:-) - and created a background for my card. Glossy accents were added on the heart and on the nose.

This little bear sends hugs and kisses and watches over you while you're sleeping:-)
